FirsteService is a decibells group company. Decibells is a 30 year IT company head quartered out of India. Decibells business focuses include manufacturing, customer software development, security management, customer workflow management and consultancy services. One of the key objectives was to help customers deploy robust, reliable and cost effective solutions. FirsteService is a products and a services company. While most of its focus as of now remains in the product domain we provide services as well. Over the years FirsteService has designed, developed and delivered cost effective solutions in many verticals.

History

It all started when our parent group decibells had developed a product for Epson for managing their service requirements. The idea of having a centralized service management system was new then. Decibells saw a growth opportunity in this market and diversified into the CRM space. From the completion of the first version of our product then code named “PSS” (Product Support Software) we have now 7 domain and vertical specific product. One of the key reasons for the expansion in the product base was to offer effective products for various industries. FirsteService now has a Service industry support management, product industry support management, pre sales, knowledge management and IT infrastructure management products.

In 2003 FirsteService partnered with Sage software of UK the makers of SalesLogix and Act, worlds leading CRM and contact management tools and ACCPAC worlds leading mid sized ERP solutions. As our products were focused towards the SME segment with Sage we were able to offer larger companies international tried and tested products. Our strategic alliance has been beneficial for both the organization and this initiative has accelerated the growth of FirsteService even more.

In 2005, FirsteService extended its offering to the Enterprise Resource Planning market as well, with another globally leading product from Sage, ACCPAC. This diversification was driven by customers demand for FES providing them with them the high quality service they have received in the CRM interactions. Secondly there is a lot of synergy in the CRM and the ERP market as a lot of FES customer and prospects alike want a integrated vendor for their complete business application requirement.

Mr. Singh has been in the IT industry for the last 30 years. Have worked with IBM and successfully promoted the Decibells group of companies which are prominent in the IT segment. It was his vision to have a separate company from the group to enable them to focus on the new emerging market for services.

P.N KAPADIA
DIRECTOR

Mr. PN Kapadia is heading a variety of engineering, manufacturing, services and IT companies. He runs the prominent Engineering process outsourcing JV with Technimont Italy which is a 500 million dollar conglomerate in large project consultancy and implementation He is also on the board of companies like Thyssen Krupp, TUV India and many more. He brings his invaluable vast experience in the local and international markets.

Mr. Utsav Kapadia is an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) graduate. He is heading a leading engineering company and is on the board of number of other companies.

VICE PRESIDENT

Mr. Amandeep Singh holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Marketing from Boston University School of Management. He has a clear understanding of the emerging markets and technology. Mr. Singh has previously worked in Customer service based organization through which he has gained in depth understanding and experience in managing customer relationships. His strong skills in handling large deals enable FirsteService to service large accounts. He has over 9 years of detailed experience in handling large enterprise customers.
